Police training initiative with the Halifax Regional Police. Avalon Centre and HRP developed a police-training curriculum and offered three one weeklong training programs to patrol officers and Major Crime investigators, and a one-day training workshop for cadets. The training programs will be offered again in the fall of 2003.
